"Is volcano boarding safe?"
In short, yes. Before speeding off the mountain our guides provide a good safety briefing, explaining the equipment and techniques so you can slide down safe. During the activity you will have a jumpsuit in bright yellow for visibility, goggles to protect your eyes, and gloves to protect your hands. All the gear is both comfy and safe!

"Is the hike up the volcano hard?"
Since everyone is different, there is not one answer. The hike up the mountain takes about 35 - 45 minutes. We recommend you bring about 1 liter of water, hiking boots, a hat, sunscreen, a bandana to cover your face, and sunglasses. If needed, take regular breaks. We also offer the option to have someone else carry your volcano board which makes the climb up a lot easier. This option costs USD 5 Dollar and can be paid in cash upon arrival.
